Pros

- Interesting, large scale projects

Cons

- The partners were continuously rude and bullying to contractors and other members of the full time team. They would often speak negatively of them in meetings and behind their backs - it quickly created an atmosphere of mistrust. - it’s expected to work with creative teams based in the states as a Project Manager, this increases your work day as there limited cross over periods with time difference (ie London vs San Francisco). - they have a saying of ‘be comfortable with ambiguity’. It honestly just represents poor management that often mis-brief / give confusing comments that you need to unpick. - HR leadership is one of the worse I’ve ever come across. This is my biggest red flag for this agency - it’s ran by someone with zero experience in any other work setting, they will say what you want to hear, they will not resolve any conflicts - I couldn’t see any benefit of this person to the actual team in the agency - it’s all fluff.

Bad vibes

Pros

The location is very cool, but not the office itself.

Cons

Very hypocrite management. Not everyone is treated the same way. The company is claiming to be flexible, but actually there is no real intention to help this and obviously applies to everyone but the management, they have an easy life. Employees are squeezed to their bones, very long hours with no discouragement of working less and very little in return! Bad vibes in the office in general. Scruffy office, cold in the winter and extremely hot in the summer.

Pros

You can learn what to dislike by working at MB and you can meet very nice people because of the high turnover of employees. Location is good, but office not so much I have to admit.

Cons

Salaries are on average lower than you would expect in the industry. Hypocritical management and super terrible HR, ready to stab you in the back (probably one of the worst I have encountered in my entire career) - a lot of whispering and gossiping around. No possibilities of growth, unless you leave the company. You're expected to work very long hours for very little reward. CEO attitude was very disrespectful towards many employees. Owners sometimes very absent. I felt many times I was on a sinking ship. I hope the new CEO will do a better job.
