I have been working at MultiView full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Incredible culture, by far the best thing about MV. The vast majority of my coworkers are friendly and outgoing, especially in sales, so it's very easy to form a solid support system and lasting friendships. My friends who work in sales at other companies are envious that I can come to work in a t-shirt or have the occasional beer at my desk. Typical tech company, youthful vibe - music playing over the speakers, basketball...

    Cons

The cons here are just cons of working in sales. If you accepted an inside sales job without understanding that inside sales = cold calling, that's on you for not taking 5 seconds to Google it. - Micromanaging. You're on the phone all day and you're expected to hit certain metrics, mainly talk time. Some team leads are great, selfless and will invest in your growth and success, while other team leads have no business...

    Advice to Management

Top performing sales reps don't always make the best team leads. Not sure exactly what the interview process is like to go from sales rep to team lead, but maybe include some leadership training. Despite the stress that comes with sales, I've never felt like just a number here. Thanks for listening to us when we have concerns and investing in our training and professional development!

I have been working at MultiView full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The culture, benefits, flexibility and the go-homes! I enjoy my time at Multiview and see potential for growth. I've never seen a company spend so much time preparing their sales force on product and skill. The training and development team are truly engaged with each new hire and take the time to make sure each employee gets the attention they need. Also, they like to promote within. It's great seeing employees being...

    Cons

They tell you one reason they’re letting you go but then come to find out they had a complete different reason. They can’t be honest with you about your progress or if you’re doing good. Turn over rate is high!!

    Pros

You have to be pushed out of your comfort zone in order to grow.

    Cons

Change is constant.. if you a company has been a around for 20 years maybe it should be a little more "congruent" month to month.

    Advice to Management

Be honest with your employees about what their job is from the get go.

    Cons

This review isn't because MV did me wrong, or I have an axe to grind. It comes from over 20 years experience in sales and sales management. I'm certain there with be a response from MV concerning the post. When I was there the sales teams were brought into a room and told that MV has hired a PR/Marketing firm to improve their image on blogs, reviews sites and such. So any reply is likely their face saving spin. ...

    Advice to Management

The best sellers don't always make the best managers. The cool kids are not always the best choice to be managers. Give some management training to your Team Leaders and Floor Managers. Managers above Floor Leader level all the way to the top, you lot are the type that give corporations a bad name.

I worked at MultiView full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Relatively easy product to sell, always have the foot in the door with prospective companies, never a dispute with the comp plan in 3+ years. Good place to cut your teeth in sales. This could be a phenomenal place to work if they fixed the culture.

    Cons

Management absolutely refuses to listen the experienced reps and is always prepared to bring the whip - never the carrot. They’d sooner roll out a 3rd monitor to watch all of the reps screens or deploy the ability to read through our emails rather than actually listen or reward the employees. The entire sales culture is broken & needs drastic change from the top down. Whereas other sales forces track effort through...

    Advice to Management

Listen to your reps. When you have a tenured sales force that’s consistently selling & they’re telling you that your KPIs are hurting them - then fix the KPIs. Reps who have been there 5+ years know what they’re doing and know what the obstacles are. There’s a reason the top performers who are contributing $500k+ a year keep leaving & you can either accept responsibility that the culture is broken and open yourselves...
