Pros

Having spent 6+ years in the company, I wish to continue here forever. But, due to my personal family dependencies I had to move to a different place. All the help/support given by the company through my personal tough times is unconditional. I will look forward to the next opportunity to come back here. Few points that made me stick so long: ** My mentors and coaches ensured that the focus was always on my strengths. They made sure I’m working on stuff that I enjoy the most and could contribute the most back to the company’s growth. ** Transparency at its best. Each employee knows how much profit the company is making, what are the company goals and working towards it as a team. And with an open autonomous salary system, there is no room for any dirty politics. This acts as a forum to build trust with the company ** Continuous career growth is the key. Weekly one-on-ones and OKRs help everyone to focus on growth of the company and the individual. ** Challenging and purposeful projects. Always working ‘on-the-edge’ technology forces everyone to learn new things everyday. Everyone in the team talks to their customer and has the chance to voice their opinions/suggestions on the product. ** Me being a travel enthusiast, I always had the support to go on my yearly 2-week road trips or expeditions. Well, it needed planning in advance so that it does not create huge gaps because of my absence.

Cons

At times, the work seems to be at high-stress levels. While some people enjoy these challenging conditions, for some it might feel like it is affecting their work-life balance.

Pros

1. Talent v/s role: I joined Multunus as a Business Analyst. Later during the training we discovered that my talent wasn't in Business Analysis but was in People and Culture. Now, I neither had a formal “HR” degree nor experience in the field of People and Culture, but I just had a desire to spread happiness. The faith that the management [quote/unquote] had on me isn't something that you can see everywhere. Now, I am provided with the opportunity, resources and encouragement in learning about science behind happiness and how to improve employee engagement [trust me, employee engagement is more than just bean bags and unlimited snacks at the snack bar]. 2. A strong set of values and principles: Whatever we do at Multunus adheres to the values and principles that are put in place. 3. High quality: One can see premium quality in anything that we do, which is not just limited to the products that we build for the Customers. And, we just don't look at the quality of the products that we build, but are very choosy about the kind of customers that we work with. 4. Open Salary System: Autonomy and transparency has been moved to the next level. Now, not only our salaries are out for everyone to see but also, it is an autonomous system to decide our own compensation. Of course, we have a few guidelines. But again, we have the autonomy to follow those guidelines. 4. Purchase systems: The budgets for purchases are all in the open. We have developed our own product to manage the purchases. 5. Learning and growth: Not only did a lot about people, process, quality… I am also taking a lot of these learnings back into my personal life.

Cons

1. The expectation is very high from each and everyone and it leads to stress every now and then. Multunus is on it’s way to improve this, but the progress is quite slow. 2. People find it very hard to pronounce the name very often. As funny as it sounds, it becomes frustrating more often than not, getting people to pronounce the name Multunus! 3. Ergonomics is not great. 4. Anger management in situations needs improvement. 5. Taking leaves for a long period of time becomes difficult.

Pros

I've joined Multunus just out of college. Let's look at the stuff that matters to you. We use the latest technology stack according to the project. You will have exposure to a wide range of domains from web development to iOS and android app development and hybrid app development. I have 5.15 lacs CTC. Now that that's out of the way, let me give you some insight into what happens within the company. Everyone here is awesomely good at what they do that you learn something new every time you spend time with someone. There are no closed doors here, you can approach anyone with any concerns you have. Even the CEO is not spared. They put enormous trust in you and leaves it to you to do the right thing. If you do mess up, they are still there to guide or give you tips. We are so concerned with employee happiness that we actually have a Happiness Engineer. I'm pretty sure that the kind of growth you have here will be unparalleled. The level of autonomy and transparency we have here is next level. We have an open salary system wherein the company revenues, CTC of every employee and the financial health of the company is visible to everyone within the company. In the area of personal growth, we use OKRs to set and measure our objectives and their progress. There also company OKRs which focus on improving the current systems in place and bring in new systems. There are study groups and lightning talks and you can form and be a part of. You get to be good programmes and more than that you become an overall better person. The perspectives you gather from people here are mind blowing. Something that really stands out among the couple of months I've been here is that within a month of joining, I got involved with the hiring team. I was directly involved in the changes that happened in the hiring process. This was even before my training was over. I was able to spend almost 20 mins with the CEO daily and within that 20 minutes, topics and discussions we have are varied and informative. The best thing about them is an insight into a man of great experience and knowledge. You would surely become more empathetic and an overall better human being.

Cons

The company expects a lot from you, this might result in burn outs. Sometimes it can feel like one is doing too many things at the same time. The overall infrastructure could use a revamp. (We are having this soon)
