Pros
For a first job out of school this was an excellent place to learn the basics of the profession. Senior employees are knowledgeable, and the work is done with a high degree of rigor. If you demonstrate a strong work ethic, you will find much to learn about design, detailing, and presentation. Leadership could be overbearing, but projects never lacked for direction or a clear design vision. The overall quality of the work is high, and there was opportunity to meet many dedicated and talented people through the work.
Cons
The environment was frequently stressful, and some of the senior management very intimidating. Many junior people work extensive overtime, though the workload was manageable and fair if you were efficient in your work. The most successful employees tended to be very efficient and flexible in their work and not too sensitive about criticism.
