Hired rapidly then laid off over half the staff and made us sign agreements saying we won't say anything negative about them if we want our severance payouts. Given that agreement, I don't want to say anything that could get me in trouble, but I wanted to give a fair and honest rating because if you've noticed, the reviews are super positive, there really aren't many of them, and in the past year there's hardly any reviews. I don't think any company should essentially force their ex employees to choose between being able to pay their bills after a layoff and being able to share the truth about their experiences. There's things I can't say, but I'm not just upset that I was laid off. I was already looking for a new job due to many other factors.

Compelled to agree to not uttering anything "negative" about the company in order to receive severance payment, weird, gas-lighting culture that initial presents as this hip, inclusive, we're smarter-than-everyone-else-but-not-admitting-it culture.
