      Enjoyable place to work but progression is limited

      Pros

      Nice people. Everyday is different. Work with a vast range of applications and industries. Stable employment with many having worked there for over 10-15 years. Always willing to help you develop your knowledge of products and processes. Quite a lot of autonomy in the role.

      Cons

      No clearly defined professional progression/development structure. Periods of time can be monotonous being a go-between customers/sales and Engineering HQ in Germany. Small UK engineering team means little chance for progression within the department. German management are still reticent to adopt hybrid working full-time.

      Pros

      Competitive salary, decent product line. Nice looking office. Very image oriented.

      Cons

      Terrible work/life balance. Will confirm in writing that no references will be provided should you leave. Extremely unhealthy environment for anyone with a family. Profits goals are above any scense of morality, ethics or employee current work load.Constantly micro managed by unqualified management! Senior management will have no issue to denigrate anyone in front of pears. High turnover in all departments, the chair may still be hot if you get a job.

      Poor Marketing Leadership

      Pros

      Growing company with a large number of great employees. There are truly great people that work with this company.

      Cons

      Low salaries, only 2 weeks of PTO, long working days as you are required to be in the office until 5pm even if you come in early to try to get out the door early to spend time with your family. Work-Life balance is not the best. Marketing Dept is a disaster with poor leadership. The Marketing Dept in Germany limits what the US can do being very controlling limiting how quick marketing updates occur.
