Pros

The most fulfilling job I have ever had! Having the opportunity to work with high school athletes and help them fulfill their dreams of playing college athletics is great. The reputation NSR has with college coaches is unmatched. From day one, my emails were responded to and phone calls taken by college coaches at all levels. The technology, tools, culture, and leadership support from top to bottom allows me to focus on my athletes to ensure they are doing the proper things throughout the recruiting process. If you love sports and enjoy helping change an athletes life, NSR is the place to be!

Pros

I have been an in the field athletic scout working with NSR (National Scouting Report) for a little more than 20 years. I am glad I found this organization back in the mid 1990's when I did. I have been able to help 100's of kids and their families navigate the college recruiting world and help them find not only a great fit for their athletic skill level, but also help them get an education that has put them in a great position for the rest of their lives. Along the way, college recruiting and recruiting rules have changed drastically. NSR has always been ahead of the changes and has been the leader in helping kids be successful. NSR has always been like a big family helping me and the families I work with to realize their dreams. If I or one of my kids need a special favor to make a college contact work, I have never been denied that favor by NSR. Great organization! Would not hesitate to recommend NSR to any family.

Cons

Can not think of any negatives for National Scouting Report, other than the occasional parent who calls and asks if I can make the phone stop ringing.
