Pros

Flexibility, certain nice students, no minimum hours requirement, can work according to your own schedule, can meet people from other countries and around the world.

Cons

LOW PAY!!!! Company's disgusting attitude towards employees, rude, disrespectful and arrogant students. Too much authority and control is given to the student. Company will blindly follow what students say and complain about without asking for a clarification or justification from the teacher. Students ability to rate the teachers but teachers cannot rate the students. Ratings impact on the level of pay an employee receives. Inadequate company which thinks teachers are to act like puppets and work only to satisfy the needs of students even if it means getting disrespected and humiliated. Pathetic students who do not speak themselves and when the teacher tries to engage in a conversation, the student then has the audacity to complain that the teacher chose ''boring'' topics to talk about, when they themselves were unwilling to bring up topics to talk about or explain things in depth and in detail.

Pros

Reserved lessons pay 9.12usd which is fair for a 26 minute long lesson. You can go on standby and take sudden lessons which are paid at 4.16usd.

Cons

Extremely poor communication from the admin staff who pick and choose what messages they want to respond to and when they do respond its automated garbage that is neither helpful or solves any issues. Inapropriate students who take classes drunk, students who like to complain about lessons without submitting any proof whatsoever that what they say is true and NC takes their word for it. Accounts are deactivated if your rating falls below 4.8/5 (which is 96%) which is utterly ridiculous. Ive had several classes with women who were quite clearly on their time of the month and decided to take it out on me by giving low ratings. Native Camp needs to instruct students that if they are tired,drunk or simply not in the mood to take lessons to simply not take them. If you recieve two low ratings in a week your account can be deactivated, Native Camp lives in a fantasy world where every student a teacher sees on a daily basis will be a good honest person. The platform also has a large amount of gay men who seem to think its a dating app and not an English learning platform. Cancellations! On a daily basis i would get classes which would get booked then immediately cancelled. Late cancellations you are given 2usd as compensation, utterly pathetic and unprofessional. No shows are paid the same at around 2usd. Native camp has also recently decided to sell packages to students which allow them access to Native teachers if they dont pay extra they cannot take lessons. This has led to sudden lessons now being few and far between. Prior to this change you coukd pick up a class in seconds, now over an hour can pass and no one joins your class. Standby lessons imo are slightly too long for the level of pay. 20 minutes maximum at 4.12 usd is mire suitable. Native Camp could be a good platform if they sorted out a number of the issues they have and if they did more to protect teachers from a hole students (99.9% of students are great to be fair) Native Camp could sort this issue by simply recording lessons like other platforms do this would reduce the chances of complaints from chancer students. I suspect they dont do this as this would require effort on their part to look into the matter. A once good platform thats now sadly ruined

Some lovely and interesting students. Decent materials provided.

Cons

Not enough hours, constant push for teachers to book "sudden" classes and earn $6/hour.
