Toxic environment with low pay and high turnover

Pros

There are NO pros at this company.

Cons

Paid below market rates. No opportunities for growth and development. No raises. Mangers are very micromanaging and only care about the money. You are treated like a number, not a human being. Only their favorites might get promoted to a different department. Encouraged to ask questions but then you get in trouble for asking too many questions. No actual onboarding or training. They do not care about their consumers or employees only their profit. No options for health insurance — only have the option to opt in or out for one horrible medical high deductible plan. Mass layoffs every 6 months. Very high turn over, So many cuts to save money then you are expected to do triple the work with no help or support for the same lowest pay I have ever encountered. Extremely toxic work environment. A lot of nepotism. I don’t see this company being around for much longer.

Pros

Fully remote, mostly kind staff, they say unlimited pto but its more untracked pto, and then they will make you feel bad if you take more.

Cons

The lowest pay Ive ever encountered, especially for very intense work. You have to be a wizz at every aspect, and then get paid the lowest market rate possible. And don't even think about trying to get a promotion, those are given to manager favorites who play the popularity game and don't do any actual work. So the ones in a position of making a difference dont actually know anything about doing the work or making a difference, and thats why this mission wont be accomplished by this company.
