Pros

Decent product, nothing else you can say

Cons

Micromanagement - they want to see your every move, you will need to ask their permission to contact any customer. Absolutely pathetic. The sales team needs to learn how to collaborate with other departments. Never seen a division between teams like this in my entire career - it's like two different organizations competing with each other. Toxic environment - Poisonous politics have destroyed the company ethos. So many corridor conversations the place is toxic. Most talented people have either left or got sacked by greedy management who only cares about IPO so they can cash in on their share options. No career progression - there is absolutely no investment in the current employee's career path...unless you worked for a company like...cough...then you are fine - you are part of their gang and as long as you do what they said you are going to be "successful"

Pros

-Nice office in Central London. Typical Startup Perks (Free Coffee, Drinks, Breakfast Options) -Exciting software and technology, value is there -Outgoing culture for those that like it

Cons

- Micromanagement is something that is loved here. They're watching what you do at pretty much all times, all they care about is the numbers and the way you get there. -No flexibility in any sense - Doesn't live up to expectations, great at selling the company and the work lifestyle during the interview but beware that in reality it isn't like that at all. - Very much a lad culture, hard to integrate and make lots of offensive comments. Clear divide between different teams

Dear Former Nexthinker, we are happy you enjoyed some of our company benefits as well as our exciting technology. Thanks for taking the time to write this review. We are truly sorry to hear you were not happy with your overall experience working at Nexthink though. We are committed to providing a working environment that is based on mutual respect among employees and is free from harassment. We have set a Code of Conduct to which every employee is expected to adhere. Micromanagement is definitely not our style – we trust our teams and if a mistake is made, we take responsibility, learn from it and move on. It's not always easy to see when micromanagement is being used but we make sure to personally address it as soon as the problem is identified. You’re right, everything matters, so does your valuable feedback. We truly wish we would have had the opportunity to discuss your concerns in person. All the very best for your future endeavors, Your Employee Success Team

Pros

Down to earth management, very approachable but deceitful

Cons

When the pandemic broke out the CRO literally said “your jobs are safe”, nevertheless they laid off people shortly after. Management and sales tell customers that the engine is based on a Nexthink patented database, but in reality it is just an ordinary in-memory SQLite database. Management tells us the cloud version now uses AI for playbooks. Needless to say that this is just marketing since there is nothing like machine learning or any other AI technique in the cloud. Nexthink has a problem attracting talent.

Thanks for your review – while we strive to create great employee experiences for all Nexthinkers around the world, we still welcome feedback even when things don’t go exactly as we’d like them to go. 2020 was a challenging year, and Nexthink is growing fast – we’re now nearly 700 employees – so we’re going to have some bumps along the way. We remain committed to transparency with our business initiatives, growth plans, people process, and so much more. I’d welcome the opportunity for you to reach out to me directly so we can address your specific concerns in person and come to a resolution. One Team! -Meg Donovan
