      Pros

Good location, decent work-life balance, laid-back friendly staff. Benefits are decent.

      Cons

Really heavy on staff redundancies over the past year and a high staff turnover rate in general. Very low office morale. Also, way too much in the way of office politics and a lack of transparency. HR could be better.

      Pros

Relatively short working hours for the commodity industry and good internal movement prospects. Good place to get a foot in the door in the commodity industry.

      Cons

Very unorganised systems, company had a spectacular growth but never updated its systems to be able to deal with it.

      Pros

I worked with some fantastically talented developers, architects and consultants on a genuinely exciting cutting edge project using some of the latest open source technology.

      Cons

The company invested heavily in the project only to cut it and everybody involved due to some poor financial results. All the money, time, and talent in the bin.

      Pros

You get to work with the smartest people in the industry learning something new every day.

      Cons

The company is extremely 'lean' resulting in a skewed work life balance.

      Top heavy management

May 23, 2018 - Anonymous Employee in London, England, England

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Nice colleagues, interesting work, great learning and business experience, good remuneration

      Cons

The company changed, and many of the experienced and knowledgeable staff moved on or were made redundant, but not replaced. This left the business top heavy in management and an unhappy workforce overstretched to their limits left behind

      Pros

Relatively laid back environment, some departments had good communication from senior management

      Cons

Personally, didn't feel there was much investment in employee professional development. Pay wasn't amazing as well
