I worked at Noble Group Limited full-time for more than a year

        Pros

Nice colleagues, interesting work, great learning and business experience, good remuneration

        Cons

The company changed, and many of the experienced and knowledgeable staff moved on or were made redundant, but not replaced. This left the business top heavy in management and an unhappy workforce overstretched to their limits left behind

        Pros

Good work/life balance and relaxed culture

Bad leadership and organisational structure, very little training, promotion opportunities and encouragement to young talent, and a very bad HR department in London

        Negative Outlook

I worked at Noble Group Limited full-time

        Pros

Relatively short working hours for the commodity industry and good internal movement prospects. Good place to get a foot in the door in the commodity industry.

        Cons

Very unorganised systems, company had a spectacular growth but never updated its systems to be able to deal with it.

        Advice to Management

Focus on making the systems and processes more lean and better suited to the companies specific needs and generalise the systems across all offices.

        Negative Outlook

I have been working at Noble Group Limited full-time for less than a year

        Pros

Good location, decent work-life balance, laid-back friendly staff. Benefits are decent.

        Cons

Really heavy on staff redundancies over the past year and a high staff turnover rate in general. Very low office morale. Also, way too much in the way of office politics and a lack of transparency. HR could be better.

        Advice to Management

Tone down the office politics. Many staff members have no idea what's going on or even who does what in the office they work in. More transparency is needed.

I have been working at Noble Group Limited full-time

        Pros

Relatively laid back environment, some departments had good communication from senior management

        Cons

Personally, didn't feel there was much investment in employee professional development. Pay wasn't amazing as well

        Advice to Management

Implement knowledge sharing initiatives and maybe some formal professional development structures

        Negative Outlook

I worked at Noble Group Limited

        Pros

Generally very decent and friendly colleagues, some with excellent skill sets and industry experience.

        Cons

Non-existent culture. Political and poor middle and upper management (with the positive exceptions being the actual real money makers in the business (which were rare)). Play the cynical game and take home the monthly pay-check. Terrible HR.

        Advice to Management

Give a dam about character, values and integrity. If you had, you wouldn't be in the mess you're in/technically insolvent.

I worked at Noble Group Limited

        Pros

I worked with some fantastically talented developers, architects and consultants on a genuinely exciting cutting edge project using some of the latest open source technology.

        Cons

The company invested heavily in the project only to cut it and everybody involved due to some poor financial results. All the money, time, and talent in the bin.

        Advice to Management

Think more strategically rather than tactically
