Toxic work environment. Bad management
Pros
The people I worked with there were genuinely lovely.
Cons
The biggest problem with Nonacus is the management. They talk about wanting Nonacus to be a nice place to work, without an "us and them" feel, but their actions are the exact opposite. Staff are often disrespected and ignored. There is no chance of any kind of internal progression unless you are friends and family. Any new/senior roles are recruited for externally, and talent already in the company is ignored. Ideas and suggestions are ignored, and belittled, only for a senior manager to later implement them as their own idea. Staff are belittled and disciplined in front of other staff. Lower ranked staff are sometimes excluded from company events. Basic health and safety law is often ignored. The management are very "reactive" rather than "proactive". This means constant changes to working conditions as nothing is planned in advance. This includes work spaces that are not suitable for work planned to happen in them. GDPR is often not followed correctly. It's common practice for senior management to promise jobs to people, and then give those jobs to other people (usually external) with no warning, and no discussion. You can literally walk in to work one morning and find you have a new line manager. You can have 10+ years experience in a role, and be told you don't know what you are doing by someone who doesn't have any experience of the job you are doing.
