Pros

For the most part the employees are nice

Cons

The owner is immature, has a potty mouth, wild mood swings, has tantrums, speaks very rude and crude to his female employees. You have to walk on egg shells when he is in the office.

Pros

Fast paced office in a growing industry. The office was pleasant and in a nice location. Co workers were just ok as it is a revolving door.

Cons

The owner of the company has little or no regard for his employees. He is a phony who pits employees against each other. He NEVER appreciated the loyalty his employees had to him or to NPM. Also the owner of this company consistently asked you to lie for him. And when you didn’t do that you were fired.

Pros

If you enjoy day drinking and prefer free tickets to events rather than pay raises or actual bonuses, this company might be for you.

Cons

This company is a continual revolving door of employees and clients. I don't know who left the lengthy 5 star review, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't written by the owner, himself, since there are only two people who have been with the company for 6+ years. The culture at North Point Management is one of the worst I've seen. Employees are often fearful for their jobs and walk on egg shells to avoid being on the receiving end of a blow up from the owner or passive aggressive behavior from the managers. The owner, controller, and managers do not trust employees and use eavesdropping and gossip to make decisions--mostly regarding who they will fire next. In an office of less than 25 people, there were at least 22 people who were either fired or left within a 1-2 year period (many within a few weeks of being hired). Many who left voluntarily did so because they recognized the dysfunctional and bipolar "management" style. As for clients (and employees), just do an internet search of the name of the owner, Timothy J. Arel, and you'll learn why this former attorney has changed careers (besides the opportunity to use company funds to buy expensive paintings to hang in his office). The neighborhood of the office is also pretty dangerous.
