      The company that self-proclaim to be the first in everything.

      Pros

      Get the job done. Get paid. That's all.

      Cons

      1) Please join the company if you would like to experience being led by a bunch of incompetent Managers who take credits for your good work and put all the blames on you when things go wrong. 2) It is utterly ridiculous that a science-based company still believe in superstition. For example, number 4 is prohibited on their tablet marking for the reason it brings bad luck and eventually cause death if consumed. 3) Their core values change from year to year. It seems like they can't finalize the actual core values of the company. Try and ask the employees over there. Pretty sure they are clueless of what the core values are. 4) In official meetings, they instill the belief that they are open to critics and discussion regarding any issues in the name of Candor value. In reality, whatever you try to bring into discussion will backfire and will not be resolved. 5) Hate to see fake appreciations on social media portraying like it's the best place to work with all those recognitions and awards given to employees. Only people who have been there truly understand the actual situation. Giving meaningless certificates doesn't really work to motivate your employees. 6) Not only employees come and go. Even their entire HR department is changed every year. What does it mean to you? Yes. Bad management.

      Poor leadership. Politics.

      Free lunch Free parking Flexi hour Nice colleagues (but not your boss) But don't be fooled with all those above as your superior will suck you dry.

      Cons

      - long working hours. While other company practice 9H working hour, here is 9.5 hours. Even it's still less than 45H per week, but they push you to max. - inconsiderate direct superior. Very difficult to sign claim and to approve leave. Complain if MC or EL due to family matters. So in short, very hard to get leave. Only die is allowed. - Married staff especially those with child better don't work here. You have to work like you have no other commitments. - poor leadership. Keep on changing direction. Morning said A, evening suddenly change to B, want it immediately before going home. Due to this, staff need to stay after working hour just to satisfy their demands. - no proper training given, but you are expected to know everything. No enough time given to learn. All is about doing doing doing and deliver. If got mistake, you are weak. - superior micromanage, no trust and love favoritsm. Mistakes are not allowed but no training/coaching given. What they know is condemn and blame. - too many bosses to follow. Boss A wants x. Boss B wants y. Boss C wants z. As a small potato, you will die in between. - you can join this company if you really desperate to work. But as long as you have choices, please make this company as last choice. Fresh graduate maybe ok to bully, but not exec with experience. - if you are approached by recruiter, please don't trust them 100%. They oversell this company untill it looks flawless and so perfect. Remember they get commission if you are in. Once you join, only you know the rotten meat inside. - This company never bother about staff wellbeing, mental health and burnout. All is about work work work and work. All staff are stress. - all potential employee should read all the reviews and they are all legit. Trust us.

As Novugen progress further in the local and global pharmaceutical landscape, we will continue to explore making improvements on employees’ compensation and benefits, within the limits of the local laws and regulations, while ensuring internal equity and meeting market benchmarking. Currently, we practice flexible working arrangements (FWA) with the discretion of the departmental planning and as per FWA policy. There is an open door practice where employees can directly discuss work concerns with their immediate supervisor, otherwise addressing them with business leaders and HR. Discussion can be done in greater detail, objectively and constructively to reach a common ground and understanding. We will try to be as flexible as possible within FWA framework while maintaining high operation’s productivity and improve our continued effort to ensure employee’s work-life balance. Once again, we appreciate your feedback and will continue to improve from here.

      Too many, don't know where to start. Warning to those people who is considering working at Novugen, if you see good comments in here with 5 star feedback, best believe that it was asked by the HR. No sane staff would rate this company 5 star. Heck, this company doesn't even deserve 1 star. If you are looking for job, stay far away from this company. This company should be your last choice.
