Pros

Great place to work! A collaborative and supportive environment with the ability to have a nice work-life balance.

Typical start-up experiences. It's not necessarily a con, just a challenge.

Stay Away from this Sinking Ship: A Warning to Potential Employees

Pros

Nothing to report here. Thank you.

Cons

I regret to say that my experience at Nowsta was nothing short of a nightmare. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Let me be blunt: Nowsta is the epitome of dysfunction. The CEO, whose delusions of grandeur rival those of a Shakespearean tragic figure, fancies himself the smartest person alive while leading a sinking ship. Under his misguided leadership, the company is careening towards failure faster than a rollercoaster on a downward spiral. Working at Nowsta felt like being trapped in a toxic wasteland where misery loves company. The pervasive culture of favoritism poisoned every aspect of the workplace, leaving talented individuals feeling undervalued and unappreciated. It's a place where the best and brightest are shown the door while mediocrity is rewarded with promotions. Direction? Ha! Don't make me laugh. Nowsta is like a ship lost at sea, drifting aimlessly without a compass or a map. They're not solving any problems; they're creating them. The revolving door of layoffs and resignations speaks volumes about the company's lack of stability and vision. To the investors who poured their hard-earned money into this sinking ship, I have one piece of advice: brace yourselves for disappointment. Your investment is akin to tossing money into a bottomless pit. Soon, Nowsta will be nothing more than a cautionary tale of corporate mismanagement and hubris. And don't even get me started on the laughable attempts at positive PR. The recent glowing review praising the CEO as "amazing" reeks of desperation and deception. It's painfully obvious that someone received a hefty bonus for singing the CEO's praises—a pathetic attempt to mask the glaring flaws that plague this company. In conclusion, save yourself the anguish and steer clear of Nowsta. Don't take my word for it; just read the reviews—they speak volumes. Your time, talent, and sanity are far too precious to waste on this dumpster fire of a company. Run, don't walk, away from Nowsta before it's too late. You'll thank me later.

Pros

Great colleagues. I met some cool people. Other than that, salary is nice, but its just a way to lure you in. It will be taken away just as quick.

Cons

CEO doesnt take advice from the VP's he hired to grow the company. Set in his ways. Inexperienced. Sales leaders micromanage the hell out of you. Be prepared to explain why you havent made 100 phone calls a day even though your in a mid level position. Be prepared to have the managers push you to extremes to basically stalk your prospects if they don't get back to you. So unprofessional. Not the way to gain a prospects trust. " Call their wife's cell phone, show up unannounced with donuts, message them on Instagram." You can't make this stuff up. Literally ZERO training. Good luck. New structure every week. They cant seem to figure out whos doing what. They just lay off smart, hardworking people instead of investing in them and providing them with the tools and resources to succeed.
