Pros

- There are some really great people who work extremely hard here (but they'd be better appreciated somewhere else, while reaching their full potential)

Cons

- President lacks basics of social and emotional intelligences - Culture is phony, awkward, deprived, and suffocated - Unnecessary bureaucracy starting with leadership - Be weary of trusting human resources - Employees only a number and not acknowledged as actual people who support the business - Product innovation extremely limited and short-sighted - Enterprise technologies antiquated, broken, and yet updated solutions failing notably - Limited cohesion, strategic vision, and value potential with relation to sister businesses - Organization does not teach nor foster any learning for personnel growth and mentorship

Pros

Work from home. Equipment provided

Cons

Don’t get fooled. This is not the same company it was years ago. They will lie to you about bonuses and commission accelerators. They will trick you to work overtime with the promise of increased earnings later on. But the thresholds are not attainable. New hires are hired just to fill seats during busy season in the befginnjng of the year. Out of 60 plus new hires brought in for 2023 only 6 are still employed 7 months later. The supervisors are too nervous about keeping thier own jobs to actually bring up the concerns of sales reps and advocate for change. This company is the opposite of transparent. They do not communicate changes or make you aware of obstacles, you are left to figure things out on your own and then get disciplined when you do common sense solutions. They do not listen to any common sense suggestions for for better customer service, sales conversion or anything. You are nothing more than a number here now. This is a phone sales job but everything they are currently doing is pushing clients to order online. There are multiple payment options you can not use so clients have to order online and you get zero credit or commissions if they order online. This includes common credit and debit card banks that we cannot process over the phone. The clientele is mostly over 60 years old but the payment processing uses a complicated technology that forces the caller to use technology they are not comfortable with or unable to perform. Not very smart business when your core clientele is not used to that tech. It’s easier for them to go online and place the order after you have already spent an hour getting them to buy and setting up the order. This is a sales job, but for some reason they make it harder and harder to actually sell and earn. This company purchased Jenny Craig. Then celebrated with all of us. But then decided that instead of offering us the opportunity to sell and increase earnings they would hire a seperate team to handle Jenny Craig calls. So we had no chance at earning from it at all. But we still had to take calls and transfer them and those calls counted against our metrics Bottom line. Everything about this is a lie now. No integrity. No transparency and constant gaslighting. Believe nothing they say during interviews and if you do happen to take the job, reference this review in 3 months and you will say see the truth in it.

Pros

The coworkers are great. Lots of helpful people.

Cons

The culture. It’s a cesspool. HR does nothing about the multiple complaints of racism and discrimination in senior leadership. It’s been brought to their attention but they force you to out yourself to “talk about it”. I’m looking for a new job as are many of my coworkers. They’ve also been unreasonable with returning to the office. They just want everyone back and don’t care about COVID. I’ve worked here for many years and it’s never been this bad.

Thank you for your feedback. We all take claims of harassment, racism, and discrimination extremely seriously and have a no tolerance policy. In the last two years, since I joined the organization, HR has not received one formal claim of racism or discrimination. I apologize if your situation was not handled correctly in the past, but I can assure you that our current team knows how to properly handle and investigate these types of situations. If you still feel that you are the victim of racism and discrimination I would encourage you to speak with HR and/or the President. We are also implementing an ethics hotline that will be available to our employees if you do not feel comfortable speaking with either HR or the President. I am sorry to read that you think we are being unreasonable and don't care about COVID. We have taken many precautions (such as contact trace reporting, dividers among cubicles, sanitation stations, increased office cleanings) to create an environment that is centered around the health and safety of our employees. Given that we are offering a hybrid model with employees only coming in twice a week with less than 30% of the employees in the office, we aren't just trying to get everyone back into the office. We are bringing employees back in a well thought out and strategic way. It is our hope that as people get back to the new normal (especially given all restrictions being lifted in PA in the upcoming weeks), that employees feel more comfortable being in the office.
