Pros

I learned exactly what type of company I don't want to work for.

Cons

Of all the chauvinistic environments I’ve worked in, this place comes in at #1. I do NOT recommend ANYONE work for OH Partners, especially anyone that is remotely good at what they do. This place will drain you of every ounce of energy you may have had for your work. Don’t get me wrong, there are some very talented people that work for this agency but the environment does not allow for them to succeed. Everyone is unhappy and internal tensions are high. There are some at the agency that have been voicing their concerns for years, in an attempt to address the root of the many problems they are faced with every single day. Yet the Partners somehow remain clueless and act surprised when their planned after-hour happy hours don’t elevate their employee’s moods. They refuse to admit their flaws and continue to disrespect their employee’s time and effort by making the same mistakes time and time again. Ad agencies are demanding places to work, this is known. But the way OH Partners conducts business is the exact opposite of how ANY reputable company operates. They are financially in a deep hole that it does not appear they can get out of. And yet they continually blow through money and resources, forcing employees to work unnecessary, long, grueling hours as they desperately try to attract new clients at the unreasonable and irrational direction of the Partners. While at the same time, their employees have had their pay “temporarily” cut since March and they scold their teams for spending too much time working on CURRENT clients. If you are looking for a chaotic, uncontrolled, fictitious place to work that’s driven by the egos of self-absorbed white men, then OH Partners is your place. They lure employees in under false pretenses of what it’s like and boast about company culture and how great it is when in fact, it is terrible. Their CEO, Brad Casper, was the only thing they had going for them. He is a kind, empathetic, and thoughtful leader who understands what it actually takes to excel and create great work. And now, with the (forced) removal of Brad by the other 3 partners, I have little hope that this place will ever change.

The Wrong People are Leaving

Pros

The company recently finished an incredible office renovation. Four floors with a really cool vibe. Too bad C-19 limits its usage to only a few people. Salaries, pre-pandemic were fairly competitive. Benefit package is very comprehensive.

Cons

Culture has gone from very good to very bad quickly. The best leaders -- Brad Casper (CEO) and Matt Moore (CCO) have departed within 30 days of each other. What's that tell you ? Other key members of Client Services have voluntarily left or been forced out. Everybody is scared or looking for new jobs. Ownership was invisible for a few years, but now seems blind and tone deaf. They are aggressive, particularly to women. Their egos and narcissism are evident to everyone. The fake authenticity doesn't fool anyone. OH isn't a team anymore now that the key coaches have left. Clients are beginning to panic because the CCO hasn't been engaged for a few weeks. Now we know why.

Toxic Environment with Unstable Leadership

Pros

Most of the people are great. It's what everyone points out when they are asked what they love about OH. The benefits are good as well - lots of PTO, vacation, 401k.

Cons

Where to start :( OH was an amazing place to work, then it just wasn't, and it seems to be getting worse. The owners drove out the only good thing OH had going, the CEO Brad Casper. He's just one of many casualties that OH has had. They keep letting really good people go or simply can't keep them because of the decisions they are making. These decisions are having a huge impact on the employees. No one seems happy and most everyone I know is looking to leave - it's heartbreaking. The environment has been gradually getting more and more toxic. It all seems to stem from Leadership. There is a huge lack of trust forming because of the decisions the owners are making or reinforcing at the executive level. Transparency and Integrity seem to be suffering as the owners egos take over the company. There is so much focus on new business that current business suffers. OH leadership is so focused on fame and it's losing site of what really matters - good work (that drives business solutions rather than winning awards), client relationships, and especially the people. On the outside OH may look like an incredible company, but on the inside it's falling apart. We are all just keeping our heads down and doing the work for fear we may be thrown under the bus or let go next because all the owners are out of touch of what is really going on and just look at is the hours we put in to make the company money.
