Pros

Good company to work for with a feeling of belonging to a team for many years.

Cons

A declining market means many budget constraints. Many feel there are limited options to progress. Moral is at an all time low. Virtually no training and no pay rises for many years.

Falling behind the market place

Pros

OKI is a lovely organisation with employees who genuinely care about each other. The flexible benefits programme is generous and remuneration at the higher end of the market average.

Cons

The business is falling behind the market. Printed volume is decreasing as digital transformation advances quickly and OKI do not have a visible strategy to re-align the business. There is far too much reliance on the SOHO market as the portfolio and commercial offerings become less attractive to corporate customers. There has been a significant wave of resignations; much of this is down to a poor strategy from Japan and the lack of support to attract new customers and partners.
