* Intelligent, motivated and cooperative coworkers. * Formal processes (CMMI level 3). A rarity for a company of ~20 employees. * Interesting projects (almost always military vehicle simulators including software and hardware) * Individual offices * Flexible schedule (including every-other Friday off) * Owner truly cares about employees
Cons
* Flat company structure offers limited opportunities for advancing career, particularly into management. You will be able to lead projects, but not manage departments or steer company direction. This is mostly a product of the company being so small and the management positions being locked down until retirement.
