The IT department has become caustic. Ever since the current CIO arrived, everyone is on egg shells and constantly looking over their shoulder. Nobody trusts upper management who struts around like Little Lord Farqaad saying one thing and demonstrating another. Everyone there used to live for that department. Now, almost everyone I know hates it there. I know many people looking for new positions and greener pastures. With everyone they have been letting go and running off, it seems they only want Jr experience (and the cheaper labor) that goes with them.

The Leadership Team is lost and uninformed, yet they feel they must be included in every decision that passes through the department. This causes their employees to feel unappreciated, underutilized, and not trusted to do their jobs. Expectations are impossible to reach and are constantly moving, deadlines are dropped due to poor planning and management, and everyone is always looking over their shoulders wondering how much longer they have left to work here before they are replaced by a lower paying job.
