    Positive Outlook

I worked at OneE Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A capable team with hands-on management.

I was treated very well here as a trainee, getting to work with directors and meet clients at an early stage. You'll get many opportunities to impress and make an impact.

Mistakes are seen as a vital learning tool.

The business sees itself as a bringer of change to the way tax advice is delivered, so I got to work for some very ambitious, hard-working people who love their jobs.

    Cons

As the firm grows, you might find priorities and tasks changing at a moment's notice - a con for those who want to know what they'll be doing from one week to the next. For others, it's a challenge, and you'll get loads of practical experience.

  2. "Exciting & fast-paced environment, definitely not for everyone!!!"

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at OneE Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company grew fast and was innovative and that made it an exciting place to be. I enjoyed working there and the fact that you were always very busy and time went so fast because of that. Also you were given as much responsibility as you wanted to take and this is good for development although a bit daunting for some. Some really great colleagues who were incredibly hardworking and some really brilliant and dedicated leadership that tried to provide good opportunities for staff to grow and develop.

    Cons

Most of leadership team was very sales-focussed which did sometimes annoy other teams who felt a bit left out. There were attempts made to improve this though.

The business was working in an area which had a lot of external change affecting it and this made it very hard to know what was coming next. Some people don't like uncertainty and so this place would not be for them!

    Advice to Management

Try and reassure people about the future despite changes outside of your control, by sharing what you are planning.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at OneE Group full-time

    Pros

Some passionate and competent people to work with.
    Paid development opportunities

    Cons

    Incompetent leadership on all levels.

    Advice to Management

All the good people have left, which is ultimately a reflection of the company's leadership being incompetent.

I have been working at OneE Group full-time

    Pros

The company is inovative, forward thinking and profit driven.
They have a great team of directors an experienced sales team and a hughely knowledgable techincal team.
All works well as a wining combination

    Cons

Company has perpetually gone through changes and re-configurations.
Changes to legislation and best practice has meant a constantly changing playing field.
Current shift in focus to a new sector is exciting yet risky at the same time.
I'm sure it will all be right in the end, just might mean a bit of pain to get there.

    Advice to Management

    Kepp doing what your doing!

I worked at OneE Group full-time (More than a year)

-Provides opportunities for developing understanding in complex areas
    -Exposure across tax codes
-Supportive management with genuine interest in development and progression
-Excellent training and development and opportunities for obtaining qualifications
-Fast paced culture, changes are adopted quickly
    -Entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
    -Opportunities to travel

    Cons

-Some tasks can be too process driven which creates more admin work to complete.
-Too many stages to completing a task can reduce ability to feel like you've made a contribution to a task

    Advice to Management

There may be a valid business case to certain process but implement in a way that reduces admin and allows staff to see their contribution on completion of a deliverable.
