Sometimes you can make good money.

You don't have a basic salary. They say: its your own business, you have to work for it. where I was working I only got 19% which was the tip. and part of your money they send it to the cruise company. Sometimes I was making money, other times I was only making the $800 minimum pay. I really got depressed, because that wasn't what they sell it to me when I applied. We had a lot of pressure to sell retail for them. I had 4 managers in my contract and the last one was mean to everyone, she was playing victim when we say she should change her attitude. If one person was doing something wrong, she punished all team. No empathy or understanding about our concerns. There was a few reports of her on the ship, but nothing was done. they only care about revenue and nothing else.
