Pros
I met many fantastic, inspiring and very motivated people in the year I worked for Open Systems. Open Systems has an open, collaborative culture that works great across Europe and its US region. This company is a good start if you are looking for an entry-type job level in IT, business, development or sales with many opportunities to be promoted to a higher position.
Cons
As a downside of this internal promotions, experienced people are missing, who have a broad understanding of customer demands and in-depth knowledge of the market and the competition. Those people should move the company to compete better instead of just being relevant in a small niche market. Furthermore, business decisions within Open Systems are often poorly communicated and frequently revised after a few months, leading to many internal discussions and frustration. I can recommend Open Systems when you are new in your career. However, when you already have a few years of experience, you should be cautious and know how to fit into Open Systems.
