Pros

Staff are gifted with days out and the bonuses are good. Hours are great.

Cons

If you want to succeed in this company you have to embrace the racist and sexist culture created within the manufacturing shop floor. Management/Supervisors are underqualified and way out of their depth. Bullying is rife and frequently used to control staff. Shouting and belittling staff members is common and morale is rock bottom. The wages are low.

Pros

Technology that can save sight and health. Good colleagues at a lower level. Benefits and wages above average.

Cons

Company is run by the sales department and a disconnected senior leadership who ignore and condone poor behaviour from staff at lower leadership level. Departments don't work together and in some respects work against each other. Having two sites and different buildings for R&D and Manufacturing causes problems and needs addressing. HR has tried to implement changes but failed to address bullying and harassment from managers. Managers seem to be rewarded or promoted by acting in an unprofessional and corrupt manner. Change needs to come from the top and surveys and presentations are useless if they don't actually deal with problems.

Pros

People working cross process to make things a success Can-do attitude at grassroots level What the products are capable of doing

Cons

Attitudes and behavior of some members of senior leadership: Lack of integrity; Cronyism is more important than doing the Right thing; Cowardice and accepting poor values; How they are perceived internally and externally is more important than doing the right thing. Fear of offending key individuals in senior leadership. Doing the right thing is seen as a sign of weakness.
