Pros

Within the teams and on a peer level the respect and the teamwork and team atmosphere is very good, people always helped each other out and were for the most part very friendly. Facilities are very good and the building is well kept and well secured and is within walking distance to the city centre. Some managers are extremely helpful. Higher teams have been able to work from home from start of Covid 19 lockdown in March.

Cons

Managment is almost non existant, always told when doing wrong but never when doing right. Some managers abuse their power and have caused people to resign due to their treatment of them. There are constantly call queues and rarely are tenants happy, call queues can range from 10 to 20 up to the low 100's on most days, consistantly understaffed due to extreme turnover rates of employees in the lower positions or teams. Some teams are generally treated worse than others and are expected to work longer hours and bank holidays on less pay than other teams with little to no flexibility. The training team vary in quality and members of the training team and managment are known to engage in gossip and form opinions of lower staff members and this directly changes how some staff are treated. A particular member of staff in a planning position is known to frequently be inappropriate to female staff in lower positions and constantly makes remarks and comments to them that are not appropriate. Most concerns raised to managers are usually not dealt with properly and in cases reporting things to managers due to their relationship and almost gang mentality causes recourse on whoever reports issues. Business is extremely reluctant to allow lower teams to work from home although all the infrastructure and systems are in place to do so, all staff have laptops and ability to work from home but are not allowed to by managment.

Pros

Decent sized company it’s easy to know what’s going on across the organisation. Good holiday packages. Local to Coventry and Warwick Free tea and coffee though I don’t know if that’s still the case.

Cons

Professionalism completely lacking especially where income services is concerned, anything goes most times from managers and team members. Unrealistic targets set and very much target orientated instead of providing support to those in need( social landlord)!. Outdated systems policies and procedures. Staff’s well-being is taken for granted. I remember having to justify doctors appointments many times. Disabled members of staff are often treated with contempt it is very unwelcoming. Less likely to progress unless you’ve worked at orbit for many years.
