Pros

The company culture and the dynamic coworkers made this a very fun place to work. The industry can be at time very fun.

Cons

This company is one of the lowest paying in the industry, their commission structure is outdated and unfair. They have also recently made the move to outsourcing personnel and heavily implementing AI.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Overture. We’re really glad to hear that you enjoyed the culture and the people as we work hard to keep Overture a fun, supportive place where coworkers feel like friends. I also appreciate you calling out some areas where you felt we could do better. We do review compensation ranges for all roles each year to stay aligned with the market, and we know that different teams sometimes operate under different compensation structures depending on how their work is organized. Whenever anyone has questions about their pay, we always encourage them to talk openly with their manager or HR. We truly want everyone to feel informed and supported in whatever role they are in at Overture. Regarding commissions, these programs are set by department leadership and are designed around the responsibilities of each role. Entry-level roles like Account Coordinators aren’t commission-eligible, which is consistent with how most organizations in our industry are structured, but we know how important clear communication is around how these plans work. And on the topic of outsourcing and AI — our goal is to make work easier, not harder. We’re looking for ways to automate or outsource the repetitive, time-consuming tasks so our teams can focus on the more meaningful parts of their jobs. AI is something nearly every growing company is adopting, and we’re working to approach it thoughtfully so it becomes a helpful tool for our employees, not a replacement for them. We truly appreciate the feedback and will continue doing everything we can to make Overture a great place to work. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, and we wish you all the best in your next chapter.
