      Pros

      - The staff is like a family - You get to work on the waterfront - You get to work at a place where guests are happy (tourists on vacation) - There are PIER-wide discounts - Free parking - Provides great foundational skills and networking opportunities (if leveraged correctly)

      Cons

      - Salaries are ~20% below market - Favoritism by executives - Lacking of resources - Interdepartmental conflicts - The executives are perked/comped for everything, while employees salaries are far below market - No opportunity for growth as the executive team is in for the long haul

      Pros

      Working lunches, working with tour and travel organizations and networking

      Cons

      Everyone has been there for far too long and they are not easy to work with at first. It gets better but the pay is terrible so if you must take the job for experience get out after year 1 or 2. There is 0 growth.
