      Public service message: avoid this company.

      Pros

      The mission drew me to the company as well as a referral from one of my friends. The focus on fitness is really cool.

      Cons

      The working environment is best described as toxic as it's very clear the management team has no idea what it's doing and the business model is not proving itself out. We keep running failed experiment after failed experiment and our chances of getting additional funding are very low (who wants to invest in a company with zero growth and no revenue). Then we keep spending money on stupid marketing deals which have no results. For now I am keeping my head down and working on some side gigs while I wait for the layoffs to come - probably in May.

      Poor management and poor execution

      Excellent mission and vision that’s powerful to attract talent.

      Cons

      Lack of diversity, specifically women. C- level is filled with the CEO’s friends who are afraid to say “NO” to him. No psychological safety net is provided for employees to speak out. Top heavy company. It's not a startup environment when it comes to leadership. None of the leaders have startup experience
