The most well-run organization I've been a part of, and a true home for any teacher or student who wants to be involved in one-on-one education -- 100% online. Management carefully curates an educational plan and teacher roster for each new student, to ensure the right personalities work together. When I reach out to the front office, I always receive prompt responses, and they are constantly streamlining admin/prep tasks to lighten the load on teachers. I have never been asked to teach a student if I was not available, et cetera. They provide a clear track to increase our hourly rate, and we can do this twice per year. A true joy to work here and I would recommend Pacific Prep to any parent or teacher.
Cons
Simply that you will have to self-manage your calendar like never before! As in, when signing up to teach a class, you have to make sure that you are truly/truly available during that time slot for the whole school year. Furthermore, flexibility is a must because parents will ask to reschedule at times. But if you show parents the willingness to do this, then they will be happy to reciprocate if you need to reschedule.
