      Packt is the best place to learn the trends of publishing industry, the understanding of component analysis and competitive nature of work helps u understand at a wider level!

      Pros

      Each day brings it's own challenges. Packt isn't just a publisher or books but also a distributor, editor and partner which brings a varied approach to any role within the business. Being a remote-first business shows the level of trust the business places on it's employees and works with their staff to ensure the wellbeing, this being more-so important with a remote work force. The individuals working at Packt are experts in their own fields and each day opens the door for new learnings and opportunities along with progression and healthy debate. A great package all around certainly helps too with an industry leading pension scheme and other benefits such as an awarded bonus based on company performance.

      Cons

      Whilst a massive benefit, working remotely does have its draw-backs, such as having less of a social element which does lend itself to more porgressive conversations. I also feel that at times more-so in the past, there has been a concentration on quantity and not quality. I believe we are turning a corner with this and looking to truly be the expert tech publisher now.
