Pros

Become very fast on excel

Cons

There is no HR so when it come to employee welfare there is none except for the annual n party you are more a less never acknowledged. Every one is overworked and alot of the staff can be unhelpful due to this and some of the old staff are just very rude to the new staff as they expect new staff to know everything despite the lack of training given Training is non existant at Paperchase especially in the weekly accounts departments and you are thrown in the deep end which is ok if you had some support but there is not that either. The office is very small and cramped a desk made for one has 3 people using it which is not a good environment to be in 5 days a week 9-6. Kitchen is very small, toilets are dirty they have plans to move but these plans to move to bigger office in croydon have been going on for years. Work is not organised and divided well by management therefore on employee may have lots of clients and other may have less but Paperchase fail to see even if you have less clients you might have larger clients which means more work

Pros

Apart from the repetitive story of how the company was founded to instil "pride" and "culture" there are none.

Cons

This firm should be sued, I have faced long term anxiety and depression because of the company's lack of honesty, integrity and employee support. The second you work in the London office or speak to the India office you realise all the directors care about is themselves. The Patel brothers have really taken it for granted over the years how much people have suffered past and present. The founders story about how he started the firm and developed it really is a facade, fake and repetitive. The directors can be bullies, ignorant and live in their own bubble. It's a wonder how they survived for these many years but there is only one reason, it is because of their employees and how they have burnt sweat, blood and gone through humiliation without 0 training. Training? Save money and time there, understanding how the employees REALLY feel without being patronising? Nope. There are many people who do have a silver spoon there and generate pretentious satisfied employee statements but this is wholly untrue and hurtful to others.
