Please carefully consider these reviews before going any further. They are not the result of “wronged” and scorned employees looking to ruin a company’s reputation, these reviews are preaching to a choir so micromanaged that many live in a state of constant paranoia.
If you are looking for job security, stability, and a small family owned down-to-Earth company, you are looking in the wrong spot.
I was hired under the impression that there was one product, Natroba (Spinosad) for head lice which is a great product. However, cash price is high, our marketing materials are stale, CVS will no longer stock it, and competitors are gaining coverage traction. They will tease “exciting new indications” in the pipeline for the molecule coming “in a year.” They were a year away for employees hired a year before me, it was a year out when I was hired, and a year out last I heard about it months later.
The second product, which I was NOT told about until after I was hired and is NOT on the company’s primary website (even to this day) is Esomeprazole Strontium. Which is Nexium with a different salt. 1/3 of the commission is based off of the sales of this product which has little to no traction. You are not allowed to call on GI’s, the vouchers are for $50 and the coverage is so bad that they are always run as cash to avoid a PA. However, running the voucher as cash will no longer be an option under a new adjustment in the program.
They will promise you a target payout of somewhere in the ballpark of $80,000. This is absolutely unattainable and they know it. Base is in the ballpark of $40,000 and Natroba market shares have been volatile since CVS stopped stocking the product. They change the commission structure every few months and there is no company credit card on top of it all!
Additionally, they monitor reps to the point where they’ve created a culture of paranoia, fear, and uncertainty. The NSA would envy their gumption.
