Thank you for taking the time to review Pattonair. Communication is always a challenge in any business, and we are working hard to improve this, in fact our Employee Engagement Survey this year clearly demonstrated that we had made great steps forward in this area in the last 12 months. We hope that you have been using the feedback tools in place to communicate with us about your concerns, as this allows us to address any particular areas of concern. I can assure you that annual pay reviews are undertaken for all our employees globally. We value our employees and their feedback, and have a proven history of internal promotions and development - not replacement; and we are sorry that you did not feel this was the case.

Pros

Pattonair has good potential to grow as a business. Some Departments are better than other. Flexible working hours offered depending on circumstances.

Cons

I have spent nearly 8 years at Pattonair working at different Pattonair sites. Management styes of individual sites are different. I personally feel Pattonair Derby needs improving on following. Supporting lower level staff. Fair pay for internal progression. 10% pay rise is some times not even match the lowest salary of the band. Stability in the management. I have seen about 5 managers Join and leave for Quality Department in last 2 years. Very unstable. Trainings approved on Periodic apprisals were not materilsed due to lack of follow up from management. External employees will get the better money than internal transfers.Hence, not fair on loyal internal staff. Despite of good performance rated in Apprisals there is no Pay raise. I felt like not a fair treatmentagain.

Pros

Nice facilities and good benefits.

Cons

The management are a joke. They simply don't act professional. They act like an incestuous mafia. When you first join they tell you that if you work hard then promotion is open to anyone but it simply isn't true. In my experience people who won promotion won it on the basis that they were liked or friends with the senior management rather than their ability to do the job. Everyone in the warehouse knew who was going to get the job just by looking at who applied. The management are often male and it was no surprise when the young attractive girl was promoted. Seemed pretty outdated and narrow minded to me. Also the management offer little or no support to Team Members. It seemed easy to blame the lowest common denominator rather than sort the actual problem out. Let the Team Member take the blame rather than admit they are also responsible for their staff/ team. Often warehouse management could be seen laughing and joking around, basically setting a bad example to Team Members, but this behavior was unacceptable for Team Members, not very professional to me and pretty disrespectful. Everyone should be working as a team.
