Pros

- Friendly team - Well paid - Remote work available - Flexibility - International - Cares about their employees well being - Great off-sites

Cons

- Could use more continuous training after the initial training - Depending on your position/department/job, there can be a lack of flexibility with hours which makes it challenging for parents to juggle work like and family life - Working remotely means you don't socialise as much as in an office setting

Pros

Love coming to work! - Open office layout - Kitchen stalked with snacks and breakfast - Dogs are allowed at the office - Group lunch on Fridays - Amazing development opportunities - Regular 1:1s with managers that include open discussions about role progression and career growth - Opportunities to collaborate with different departments - Depending on your role, there are travel opportunities as well - The company has been growing and growing ever since I started. - Relaxed work environment paired with great ambition - Peerspace meditation twice a week: our office practices mindfulness in the workplace :) - Multi-cultural, even male/female ratio/very accepting and open group of people: we don't really have "cliques" at the office since everyone can hang out with everyone. - I've seen lots of positive improvements in myself personally and career-wise thanks to a lot of the people I met here. - Love the culture and atmosphere - The CEO uses all of our quarterly off-sites as an opportunity to hear his employees feedback and almost immediately work on improvements.

Cons

- Start up ups and downs with lots of changes. Note: this can also open up new areas for career growth though... - It's tough to make sure everyone is in sync since we're still working with different tools and softwares that can keep a track of this. - I've spent too much time trying to think of other cons but can't. Peerspace really is a great place to work at. A lot of people you meet here left Fortune 100 companies or developed some amazing content/developer project/etc to work here and are still here.

Pros

- Great coworkers - Full remote - Simple business model The best part about Peerspace is the people, even if I don't agree with business decisions, as will be mention in the cons section. Despite my criticisms, I believe good people made and work at Peerspace.

Cons

- Volatile market = volatile staff - Dishonest/misleading leadership - Trend chasing To be specific, Peerspace's performance is market sensitive. The early pandemic was bad for them, as were recent years. As such, they've had to cut staff abruptly several times. This is unfortunate, but not surprising for a startup. What made this egregious in my time with them was their communication. Leadership communicated that they had, "no intentions of laying off core staff members." This intention changed very quickly when they continued to not see the growth they needed over the next few months. To our dismay, core staff was laid off anyways. This misleading communication to staff is bad, but overall would leave me with a positive experience. However, when considered in addition to their business decisions internally, I do not feel comfortable giving them more than two stars.
