Pros

I like my job itself.

Cons

This summer the Museum went to great lengths to block unionization, and they have acted even worse since unionization. They are making unionized employees feel like we don't matter...at all. Taking away remote work when other parts of the University still have the option is unfair and clear retaliation for unionizing. Other departments within Penn are pushing back hybrid work to later in the fall and still doing 100% remote for at least a couple more weeks, some not until next month. The Muesum emails staff the Friday before Labor Day (!!!) to tell us remote work is not allowed anymore, at all - for anyone! (Last week it was only not allowed for union members.) Happy Labor Day! Just awful and so disappointing. Add that on to the Move controversy, and the upper management and corporate culture here is toxic. University of Penn should be ASHAMED.
