      I know that some day it will end

      Petrofac HR is staffed by a group of spiteful, ego maniacs, that treat the workforce like trained animals, stress is ignored and any one who dares to question their power is singlednoutnfor harassment, I go to work dreading the next confrontation knowing that I will end up wanting to kill myself, this is the worst company I have ever worked for, a management buy out returned me to their employ and it is even worse this time

      Starting salary is competitive, private health care.

      Cons

      Upper management are contractors so they look out for one another, the full time Petrofac employees are not really valued as a result of this. There is a severe lack of work, absence of bonus and wage rise - I am on the same salary as I started with over 2 years ago. Absolutely terrible expericne

      Pros

      If they can make lots of money out of you without having to do anything in the way of career development (despite having Petrofac Training Services), you will have a steady, but uninspiring career.

      Cons

      The only people Petrofac's HR department staff care about developing and advancing are themselves. They cast non-HR Staff members to other companies and promptly dump any HR or IT support. It can take days for HR to answer a query or request for help and even longer to get IT support from their Global (so-called) Service Desk.
