Pros

Apartment discount is the only good thing.

Cons

PICERNE REAL ESTATE GROUP Overwhelming Workload- You will be given an overwhelming workload, management basically tries to shuffle there tasks onto lower level employees. To keep up with this workload, you will either have to come to work early, cut short your unpaid lunch, stay after hours, or come in on your day off on a weekly basis. No Overtime pay! The management is incompetent and does know what they are doing. The turnover is so high in this company; 1 year of service in this company is enough to be considered a “veteran.” Management can’t even answer your questions about the job. They will either claim they told you already or to call someone else at another property. Poor training and terrible leadership, this company has a serious lack of direction. And it’s not uncommon for managers to scream at you. Management plays favorites and it’s unfair. In other words, yes they discriminate at this company. Management does not want to be bothered issuing security deposit refunds so it’s standard practice to overcharge residents for the smallest damages and they pad numbers for budgets. Picerne has terrible benefits. Bottom line, do not work here. It is a terrible and awful place.

Pros

Pay higher than most, opportunity to advance, well established company, full benefits

Cons

Workload more than can be done, not enough help from corporate, micromanaging, not enough pay for the expectations, takes too long for benefits to kick in, they want you to be 100% dedicated but will fire you on the spot for no particular reason other than they don't want to give you a raise or promotion
