FIRST OF ALL!
EVERY. 5 STAR REVIEW YOU READ ON HERE. IS. A LIE.
Notice how so many 5 stars popped up in October? THERE'S A REASON FOR THAT.
Also, notice how all the cons aren't even cons?
"Lots of working, which is good because it gives me experience! :D"
That's not a con. That's a sales tactic. They are all fake.
DO. NOT. LISTEN. TO. THEM!
You will drive countless hours every day, only to reach appointments that either didn't know they made an appointment and have no desire to talk to you, but you'll still be forced to literally force your way into their house to try to sell them a $100,000 system in ONE sitting that will financially screw them entirely. OR they won't be there at all, and you'll have to just wait for "headquarters" to try and get ahold of them.
You aren't allowed to call PERIOD before you get there, or on the way. Even if you can't find the place.
You get paid absolutely nothing unless you sell stuff. Which you probably won't, because the prices are astronomical, and not even remotely worth it, and anyone with 1/4 of a brain will realize it 2 minutes into your presentation. Especially when you tell them the price.
If you DO somehow manage to make a sale, you will have to take countless pictures, do tons of paperwork that takes forever and chances are you're gonna miss something and be forced to try to go back to the customers house, which most of the time when you try to reach out to the customer to get the rest of the info you need, they've done more research and cancelled anyway.
If you do manage to make the sale, get all the paperwork, and get everything done... Congratulations.. You've financially screwed someone who is going to get a substandard product installed by highly underpaid and under-qualified people who are forced to work 7 days a week (AS YOU WILL BE AS WELL. YOU WILL BE WORKING 7 DAYS A WEEK. AND YOU DO **NOT** GET OVERTIME BECAUSE YOU DON'T GET PAID.).
The owner is a greedy (lots of bad words added here) who started the company as an alarm company, that has class action lawsuits and stuff against it), then moved on to solar because he realized it's way easier to scam people better with solar and not have to pay anyone. While also getting class action lawsuits.
Oh, and you're told to tell the customers who ask about the class action lawsuit that it's actually a GOOD thing.
ALso, most of the customers won't qualify for the tax credit, but you'll be forced to tell them they do, and if they ask ANY questions, you respond "I'm not a qualified tax person.." then continue forcing them to try to sign.
Also, you'll be told that the more they put down the first year, the less their payment will be. While I worked there, it was verified by many sales people who CALLED THE LOAN COMPANY that this was just NOT true. However, we were told the loan company...who gives out the loans.. was wrong. And powerhome was right. So you'll be lying to customers about that too.
Seriously. I could go on and on and on. Every story you hear about an actual sale any salesmen makes there will follow with a horror story about how that person is now completely financially screwed, and they haven't even received the working product yet. And even when they do, they aren't going to be saving any money.
BAM!
