      Great people, awful pay.

      Pros

      They've got a great culture with some of the most fantastic people I've ever met. Being one of the top animation studios in Minneapolis, the work you will work on is very high-profile.

      Cons

      Unfortunately you won't make much more than $25-30k a year here if you're just starting out, regardless of talent or skill level. The high earners here started their careers at other companies and came on later once they were more experienced. I understand they can't start fresh college grads out at $80k, but if they're working at Pixel Farm, they're worth far more than $25k.

      Pros

      - free snacks and candy - awesome location in the north loop - great website - all-company meetings with breakfast included - team lunches

      Cons

      - underpaid - lack of work - sexist, inappropriate work ethic from many team members - overall a very unprofessional place *doesnt apply to the music department

      Pros

      Pixel farm was a great place to work. It's a fun environment, cool office space, and the high-caliber work produced by the post production team brings tremendous cache to the business. The company's other offerings are not as strong, though the interactive team is (very) slowly building an increasingly solid portfolio of work.

      Cons

      With the exception of music and post, projects are poorly managed. This is particularly true of internal initiatives. A need will arise, great solutions will be proposed, and sometimes work toward these solutions will actually begin. If they do begin, however, they will be poorly managed and slowly suffocated over the course of months or years.
