Pros

Interesting work..thats where the pros end.

Cons

But manages to ruin to the experience by micromanaging and sky-high unreasonable expectations. Wont say a lot of things except this: The senior most person in the organization actually told us before breaking for the Pandemic work from home period - "please don't consider yourselves so intelligent that you will get a job outside in this period". This man has the audacity to say such cheap things to his employees. This is just one small example. You ask the old employees, to them this CEO is like their own family. But thats the thing..the partiality and hypocrisy here is beyond belief. Added to this are very incompetent "Senior Managers" whose exact job description nobody can understand. Why they are managing things they themselves are not experts in..nobody knows. But that shows you the quality of work we juniors end up doing. I believe this describes everything.

Pros

The average age of employees there is 25. The vibe you feel once you enter the place is extremely positive. The people are generally nice and helpful. They waste no time in making you feel a part of their community which is great. You get to hustle and learn a lot of things required to get a startup off ground. Read on to know how the same things can actually have a negative effect as well...

Cons

1. Because the general crowd is so young, the quality of leadership is REALLY REALLY BAD. This would have still been okay if the senior management actually admitted this, but unfortunately they don't. They think leadership is "overrated" and put inexperienced and young people (who are good at their job) at very high leadership positions not realizing that the people put under them are suffering- the quality of work being done by the people reporting to these "seniors" remain as non-serious as ever which affects their learning to a great extent. Not just that, because these "seniors" are not competent leaders (yet), they don't know how to lead a team with empathy and humility which causes frustration among the people. 2. Your role and relative position in the company changes very frequently. While this may be a good thing for some people (e.g. freshers) it becomes extremely painful and frustrating after a while and for people coming in with experience.. which brings me to my 2nd point. 3. People coming in with experience are not considered experienced because they are new in PlexusMD, no matter what kind of work they have done before and where they have worked. They are all made to report to the "Senior Manager" who has barely 3 years of experience and with due respect, has limited knowledge about a lot of things. It's beyond frustrating to teach your manager while executing a task especially when she is too arrogant to realize that her knowledge is limited. 4. The C-Suite execs support this bad leadership. Attrition is EXTREMELY high, people are constantly quitting with bad blood. They teach the senior managers to not be humble, show off authority, basically to show to the juniors (who are forcefully made juniors irrespective of knowledge and experience) who is the boss. 5. They pay well. A lot of people will tell you that. What they won't tell is that some people quit because either there salary was reduced without any intimation although they were finishing all deliverables before deadline (true story), or a consultant is not being paid his/her dues for almost 9 months or someone else is unfairly denied a promotion or a raise in salary even after more than a year of working 70 hours a week. So the reason they get to pay some of them well is because they deny most of them of what is due. 6. The appraisal process is nothing less than a joke, they bring up all small mistakes you have committed - most of which is magnified just to make you look bad and completely forget the good workyou have done. The senior most person in the company has almost no visibility of how people are performing on a day to day basis but is ready on appraisal day with a long list of negative points. The senior manager (who reports to the senior most person) is supposed to report both positives and negatives about the employee but does a pathetic job at maintaining that balance. 7. EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY biased management. Whatever the senior manager does and says is correct. Nobody else's point of view is taken into consideration although PlexusMD hires a quite a few smart people. Its only the senior manager's career growth, learning and opinion that is valued by the C-suite execs and nobody else's. 7. Last but not the least, they expect very very long hours from everyone. People are made to feel guilty for wanting a leave sometimes or leaving on time (not even early). You have to constantly keep the senior management happy, else you are accused of defying authority..then you are pulled down, your relative position is lowered, enough work is not assigned and lastly, confidence broken. After all this, when you finally leave the place.. you take years to recover from the mental torture and harassment. YEARS.

Pros

For freshers, higher responsibility at initial phase of one's career

Cons

- if you are an MBA having 3-4 years of an experience, you might have to work under someone who is a fresher having 1-2 year experience - Young Employees in age bracket of 20-25 so called Managers and Senior Managers are arrogant and have no managerial skills - Employees who are not having management trust will be given inferior profiles like cold calling, head hunting, copy pasting data etc etc which ultimately waste your time & talent which forces one to explore better profile outside. - Blame Game - Management is very much biased - Management will make sure that you spend most of your time in office with colleagues - Waste of time in forced participation in boring games and celebrations. - show offs
