Pros

You can have whatever title you want without earning it. You can have no experience and be asked to complete important projects within a day.

Cons

Note: I'm a seasoned pro. I've been in my industry for a long time. This has been one of the worst jobs I've ever had. Imagine if you took a bunch high school students with no experience and put them into professional adult jobs. Are you imagining a lot of false confidence, fatal business mistakes, immaturity, and panic-driven decision-making? Welp, that's pretty much the best way to describe this place. Management is a MESS. They are completely underwater and have no idea what they're doing. They don't know how to run a modern agency and don't have a pulse on the future at all, yet somehow have this ridiculous confidence that is not rational. A lot of the people there are socially awkward. I've never worked at a place with such weird, distrustful, and immature personalities. Management takes advantage of the few talented gems that work there. They promise things to clients they don't know how to or can't deliver and then run around like chickens with their heads cut off when its time to deliver. Then they call it "agency". Um no, its just plain old being disorganized and inexperienced. Time management here is a joke. They expect a ton from you but don't know how to manage the time or the expectations they set on you, and don't listen when you attempt to manage your own time or the time of your employees. They are setting people up to fail. Owner has a good heart. But that's not enough to run a successful business. The owner hired me as a Director of a department for which he didn't know the acronym meaning... I'm not kidding (and he was the only person in charge of hiring). He wanted me to do things that weren't part of my expertise or field, and then had the nerve to tell me I wasn't good at doing those things he didn't hire me to do. He then tried to reshape the position and give me a $25,000 pay cut because they changed their mind about needing a Director of my field. Then blamed it on me. He and his young, inexperienced lackeys made me feel bad every day despite being one of the most experienced workers there. I turned into a negative person for the six months I lasted, until finally I couldn't stand one more second. The last straw was when I was there at 3am working to meet some ridiculous deadline and the owner scolded me like a child for not turning off the lights the night before. Not thank you for working so hard. Not be safe. Turn off the lights when you leave. UGH.

Pros

As w/ most agencies you get a host of opportunities to speak with new clients coming through the pipeline.

Cons

Unlike most professional experiences you never get a clear path to growth. They feed you a story about entrepreneurship without actually investing in your success. Interns are churned and burned... Oh, and the pay situation, guaranteed to be the lowest quartile of opportunities in for similar pay jobs.

Pros

There should be some pros in order to list here

Cons

Don't fall for the flexibility trap ...it is all myth. You can't even leave your pc and go to the washroom...you will get a phone call... Also the so called flexibility will be taken away suddenly and you will have to work more hours and work from office premises. It is the worst company you will ever work with in your life and stop your career growth.
