I have been working at Police Scotland full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Police Scotland is a fantastic place to work, with an excellent working environment in the majority of offices. Although the work is demanding the service works hard to try to ensure the best possible officer and staff welfare.

    Cons

There are a lot of pressures in policing, regardless of where you work or which service you serve. The public perception varies massively and you will undoubtedly face a lot of criticism even when you do well.

I worked at Police Scotland full-time

    Pros

    Good pay and time off

    Cons

Senior management is incentivesed to change things so the departments and areas of the job that are actually enjoyable often get changed. Also officers are far too thinly stretched to police effectively
