Pros

Really interesting space from a technology perspective, bringing together some of the latest research and technology on distributed systems with traditional financial products and institutions. Great senior leadership and transparent open communication. Lots of opportunity to work with new emerging tech and tools.

Cons

Polymath is a startup so iterates fast and has the usual risks associated with a startup. Largely remote for developers (and everyone at the moment) so communication and self-motivation is important for success.

You are responsible for yourself and are given opportunities to show what you can do. The way that you are supported in your development shows that the company really focuses on building talent from within.

Cons

As a start up you have to wear multiple hats and if you aren't into being solution oriented this might not be the place for you.
