Pros

Up to $100 towards health insurance (calculated to the exact amount if your insurance is less than $100), Friendly owners/staff, don't have to clock out for lunch unless you leave the plaza, good experience for those wanting to get into retail design and equipment usage. Training for all retail and packaging services so they won't turn away those without experience. Owners understand the accidents happen.

Cons

Designers are expected to also be able to package and ship goods, work the cash register, and do other retail based tasks that they may not be trained for beyond what they learn in store. While they do help you if you're inexperienced with how to handle things when they go badly if a customer gives the store a bad review because of your poor service you will get in trouble. This is not just limited to bad behavior like rudeness or language but can also include situations like getting flustered because the computer system crashes or if the shipping program takes several attempts to print a label for a package (which happens a lot).

Pros

It's a fast pace industry, which help you (especially as a school leaver) to find your feet in the customer care industry, on how to operate and dealing with customers directly.

Cons

It's almost a 12 hrs shift environment, standing on your feet most of the day, never really able to take breaks or enjoy a proper lunch to get your mind to rest a bit and then to go on again. If your not up for working under pressure then this is not for you.
