Pros
I used to go to work and say, "I'm building America today." I loved that my work resulted in something "concrete" that would last for many, many years. I was paid rather well for the work I did. The seasonal nature of the work allowed for great PTO policies.
Cons
Dealing with concrete contractors is like dealing with little kids... they don't know much, but think they know everything. And the relationship can become verbally abusive when they don't get what they want.
