Pros

Amazing work/life balance since you get to work from home and can make up time at the end of the day instead of talking PTO for appointments, and a really good workplace environment. The camaraderie across all the teams is really amazing.

Cons

Evening out workload across all accounts. Sometimes one group will be done at 11am and another will still be behind two days later, there’s not much they can do about this other than continuing to cross train people to help on other accounts.

Cardiac Clinical Specialist Training

Pros

- Great well rounded training for anyone looking to enter the EP or CRM space as well as other exciting opportunities for unique jobs in the field of medical devices. - Knowledgeable staff and amazing professional team that helped me land my starting career job. - Amazing facility with the resources to expose you to what you'll be seeing and doing on a day to day basis in the cardiac clinical specialist line of work.

Cons

- Program expectations are very manageable, however the schedule was very stressful during the transition from the online to onsite phases, especially for students having to come cross country. Even just a couple of days off in-between to make that huge move would've made my life a lot easier then.

Best Decision Ever!

Pros

Going to PrepMD was hands down the best decision I've ever made. It was extremely challenging and you HAVE to work hard, but the career that comes after is 100% worth it. There is so much information they teach you and its true that if you don't put the time in and study, you won't be successful. But you will so happy if you do! I was hired by Abbott while I was still a student at Prep and my employers were very impressed with how much knowledge I had from Prep when starting. By going to PrepMD, I was able to be fully trained and independent much faster than hires that come from no former background in the field. CRM clinicals are in high demand and I think the people that are commenting on Glassdoor saying they didn't get jobs are the ones that probably did not work very hard in the program. And the career itself is not for the faint of heart. It continues to be challenging everyday but so worth it. Every single one of my friends from PrepMD that worked hard landed great jobs in cities of their choices. Again, it really just depends on how well that student does and if they are someone you'd want working for you. I would recommend PrepMD to anyone looking to get into this industry. Both my brother and I went through it and we're both extremely happy with our current careers.

Cons

*Time consuming *Challenging- but worth it! (not really cons just the way it is) *You can't be picky about relocating unless you want to wait for a job
