Pros

-They introduced me to the wonderful world of staffing! -LOVED the people that I worked with, all have left since then (team of 8).

Cons

****If I could give this company ZERO stars, I would.**** I will rebuttal every single "positive" review given to them as they are fake and pre-written by the managers themselves. I myself have been asked to write fake positive reviews, and have refused to do so. Positive reviews are untrue and so far off the mark. -PSS has been in business for 17 years and they have gained attention and constant business mostly in the LIGHT INDUSTRIAL market due to ridiculously low mark ups that are not worth anyone's time, and some unethical practices, including shopping and "sharking" other vendors' candidates that are still under contract. -Entry level recruiters are expected to work up to 12 hour shifts, starting as early as 5:30 am. There is ZERO work life balance here and they will milk you for all your'e worth. -Recruiters are also expected to work through lunch most days and work 4-8 hours on Saturdays doing client check in's and data entry. -You are expected to deal with payroll issues as well. They have a one person payroll department and about 1,500 employees, you do the math. -You are made to feel guilty if you would like to take a vacation. Insurance and benefits are not great either. - The lobby is chaos. Overbooked with walk ins and other appointments. Lobby is loud and unorganized. -The candidate pool that you work with is entry level and diverse. They will swear at you at a moment's notice if they feel like they did not get paid correctly. Very unprofessional and unpolished. -You can never complete a task, phone call or interview in its entirety. You are always being interrupted or being rushed to get off the phone to do an interview. -Employee morale is low, never kept in the loop about upper management or process changes. -Commission plan is not great either. Very low percentages even after 6 months of tenure. -They have ZERO training, it is literally a sink or swim environment. -Management turns internal employees against each other, so there is always job uncertainty. -Stress level is too high and managers do not have time to help you cope with it as they are being pulled in a million directions in unnecessary meetings and conference calls. -Have known that many clients are unhappy with them but feel like they have no other choice because of the low markups. Remember people, you get what you pay for!! -Seriously the worst company I have ever worked for. I even took a pay cut when I left and was so much happier in the end!

Pros

I've seen the bad reviews on this website and I just had to say something. I can tell who wrote them and get this place isn't for everyone. But I've been here now for awhile and I really like it. I've met some of my best friends here and to be honest, we all really like it here. I like that the days go by really fast and I get to talk and meet with a lot of people. And the salary and bonuses are great.

Cons

There are long hours but they told me about this in the interview and they were really honest about it. I work around 50 hours per week. We hire so many people every week that it can be hard to keep up with and people aren't always happy especially if their paycheck is wrong. This can be really stressful.
