Pros
Work independently with access to communicating with in-office people about any matters that may arise.
Cons
Beyond communication between PCAs and In-office people, this agency is not very supportive to their PCAs. They don't pay well (most Home health agencies don’t). There are no benefits to speak of (other than a health plan that is unaffordable for what they pay. The work is very unstable; it can go from full-time; to Part-time; to no time; at any time, due to the fluctuation of clientele (A client dies, goes to a facility, or no longer needs care; all very common in PCA-work). This agency is not supportive to the PCA's need to make a living and has been known to routinely manipulate; go to unethical tactics and out-right lie to block reasonable and needed unemployment claims of their PCAs (the foothold of their business).
