Worst Company to ever work for - save yourself from this mistake!

Pros

There are none worth this mistake.

Cons

This company is just horrendous. They are NOT GROWING so don't buy that song and dance. They are laying off many employees because they overstaffed and have no clue what they are doing. Only heads that need to roll are at the top. The COO and SVP need to go ASAP.

A work in Progress

Pros

Shiny new office in Scottsdale, nice people. Will splurge on conveniences, technology and compensation when it seems a lot of other companies are cutting costs at every turn. They say the right things...

Cons

The shiny, new, progressive company is a bit of a facade. It looks nice from the outside but once you are in you get a sense of disorganization, lots of vague direction to manage things but not giving tools, structure or authority to do it. Responsibilities are pretty disorganized with multiple people overlapping job functions, it's good to encourage cooperation but confusing when roles aren't clearly defined and no one has final say in anything. Training is lacking, you just sort of have to learn by watching others. Acquiring properties faster than they can really implement systems to handle them, which has led to unhappy customers. A lot of discussion about what can be done to increase profitability for the company and get homes occupied efficiently but no real talk about how to improve the customer experience for existing tenants once they have them. Health care plan is crazy expensive if you have a family. Not much PTO.

We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way. To meet the growing needs of our company, we offer numerous training classes for our employees to better understand their job function and become equipped with the tools needed for success, in addition to providing a learning management system. And while we know that we don’t always get it right, ensuring our residents receive a quality rental experience in a home they love is a top priority.
