I worked at Project Resource full-time

    Pros

Great relationships with Director Great event organisers Good Comms Structure

    Cons

They Only recruit Grads -High Staff Turnover -If you are not in the inner circle of 'long termers' then life at work is harder -Long termers still qualify for the quarterly trips even when they had not met or exceeded targets - the trainees and recruitment consultants noticed this - Very incestuous company, lots of sleeping around

    Advice to Management

Leave out the favouritism Derek was a great Director and a great influence, I still use his advice to this day!

I have been working at Project Resource full-time

    Pros

Pay is decent, nothing special, but you can earn much better at another agency Some additional benefits are ok, but not worth it No other pros

    Cons

Almost every other aspect It's run like they think it's Wall Street. There is an inner circle and only they are ever safe, no consequences if they miss targets. Miss your target or question anything and your commitment will be questioned. No real training, just basic and generic rubbish, mostly just about working more and longer hours. Very high turnover of staff Their reputation is awful in the industry and...

    Advice to Management

Change the entire culture of the business Play to peoples actual strengths, not what you think they should be. Actually invest in proper training, not watching Jordan Belfort...

I have been working at Project Resource full-time for more than 8 years

    Cons

I don't see any personally, but maybe I'm biased being a Director of the business. Some people may see the longer hours than non-sales jobs as tough, but you get what you put in. Many people that leave recruitment jobs just do not want to put in the hours and hard work that it takes to excel. This is a key requirement in any career, and recruitment/ sales is no different.

    Advice to Management

Keep developing, striving to improve and to be the best that we can be.

I have been working at Project Resource full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Friendly team. Great Incentives and a really decent commission structure. I have been trained by both of the Directors here in my first year and a half and with my current billings i'm on track to make £100K in my first full year.. at the age of 21.

    Cons

Competitive, fast paced environment and high-standards which may pout people off but if you are out of by those things its probably not the right industry for you let alone company
